Newcastle United comfortably won the first Wear-Tyne derby in almost eight years coming away from the Stadium of Light with a 3-0 win and their place in the next round of the FA Cup.
The atmosphere in the ground was absolutely amazing as the noise barely dipped all game, both sets of fans were so up for it and so, it seems were our owners.
In truth, Newcastle should have won by a bigger margin than what they did, although 3-0 is nothing to be sniffed at.
The Magpies were made to work hard for their goals as Sunderland's Dan Ballard defended with his life.
It was that same defender who gifted Newcastle their first goal after putting into his own net, however it was one of those were he was damned if you do, damned if you don't as it was going to end up as a goal either way.
Newcastle bagged a second goal immediately after half time through Alexander Isak after some brilliant pressing play by Miguel Almiron, but it was the third goal that got Amanda Staveley off her feet and turning the air blue.
The Newcastle co-owner filmed the penalty from her position in the stands and posted it on Instagram x-rated language and all.
That's why we love Amanda. It genuinely means a lot to her to see the team doing well and she celebrates like a true fan.
We want more of this content please, Mandy!
