There's a finite amount of bronze in the world so it may be a bit much to ask for a statue to be made of the Geordie giant Dan Burn but Newcastle United fans wouldn't begrudge the man some sort of recognition, we're sure.
Fans were absolutely buzzing for the Blyth-born defender last week when it was announced that the 32-year-old had been included in Thomas Tuchel's first England squad.
Dan Burn has become a cult figure on Tyneside with his winning personality and beaming smile, but to add to that, he has been an absolute colossus for Newcastle this season.
He was already well on his way to winning Newcastle's Player of the Season along with Lewis Hall, but we expect that the 6'7" defender may have just propelled himself into the lead of that race with his unbelievable headed goal at Wembley yesterday.
It capped off a very memorable few days for Burn, who spoke to Sky Sports full-time, saying that he felt he was dreaming after being called up for England and then scoring at Wembley for his boyhood club.
"I've had worse weeks. I don't want to go to sleep because I feel like I'm dreaming and it's all going to be a lie. When I got the message from the England manager I thought it was a wind-up. I had to go away and check it was legit! But it was fantastic and now I can't wait."
Dan Burn has already been captured on video in the England camp, checking out his Wembley goal alongside Jordan Henderson, who has been recalled to the England setup by Thomas Tuchel.
Two years ago, Dan Burn cemented his place in Newcastle United folklore with his famous Gazza impression when Newcastle made it to the Carabao Cup final, but it's safe to say he's surpassed that moment now with his amazing goal.
Dan Burn was greeted at the England camp today by the new manager Thomas Tuchel and Harry Kane, so hopefully it has sunk in now for the smiling giant.
All that's left now is to win that first cap on Friday. Another date at Wembley for the big man.
