Newcastle United have one of those football match things tomorrow after two weeks of rest for the players and intense stress for the fans as several high-profile players looked to be on their way out of the door.

The Magpies travel to London to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup fourth round in a stupidly scheduled 7pm kick-off on Saturday. The game will be shown live on ITV.

Eddie Howe spent the majority of his pre-match press conference this morning talking about transfer rumours, but did eventually get on to speaking about tomorrow's game, saying that they've been working hard on a gameplan and are going all-out to win as they are desperate to continue in the competition.

Howe will go full-strength to ensure a win

The FA Cup represents Newcastle's only shot at silverware this season so a good run to help us forget about this awful season would be ideal. With that in mind, we believe Howe will go full strength with his starting XI based on players who are available.

Newcastle United 16
This is about as strong as it gets right now with so many players still out injured.

Goalkeeper

Martin Dubravka - Nick Pope didn't make a miraculous recovery during the two-week break so Martin Dubravka will keep his place.

Defence

Kieran Trippier - At one point it looked like we'd not have our vice-captain available as he looked to be off to Bayern Munich, but he's still here and will be the first name on the teamsheet no doubt.

Fabian Schar - Ol' reliable keeps his place alongside his favourite defensive partner.

Sven Botman - The third piece of the Premer League's joint-best defence last season will start with the fourth one rounding out the back four ...

Dan Burn - Last season's brick wall is complete with Burn.

Midfield

Lewis Miley - Wonderboy starts in the midfield again with Joelinton out for the season, we'll be expecting Miley to keep his place at least until Joe Willock returns.

Bruno Guimaraes - Another one linked with the exit door, albeit at the end of the season. As long as his head is screwed on for the remainder of this campaign that's cool.

Sean Longstaff - Hopefully a couple of weeks rest and some proper training will have Longstaff back to how he was before the injury because since he's come back he's been woeful.

Forwards

Miguel Almiron - Miggy is heavily linked with a move away and was even spotted heading into the RVI today which had tongues wagging that he was going for a medical - but the club uses Nuffield for that so it doesn't make sense - So we believe he'll be in the starting XI tomorrow. Could be his last game, however.

Alexander Isak - There's always the chance of goals with Isak in the starting lineup.

Anthony Gordon - AG10 went off the boil a bit before the break, likely due to fatigue, so a couple of weeks to regroup and he should be raring to go again.

Despite all the speculation around the club, we expect that Eddie Howe can get the lads to stay professional and put in the performance they need to see this one through.

Howay Eddie Howe's Wantaway Mags!
