Eddie Howe insisted that Alexander Isak wouldn't quite be fit enough to make the squad to face Bournemouth tomorrow.

In his pre-match press conference on Friday morning, Eddie Howe said Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak was very, very close to a return but probably wouldn't make it for Bournemouth.

We've taken his word on it when it came to putting together our predicted lineup, but just to be clear, we fully expect Isak to start now - and we wouldn't be shocked if Joe Willock was on the bench either.

That being said, we'll go with what he told the gathered media this morning and we'll go with Anthony Gordon leading the line.

Lineup
Guess work based off Eddie Howe's press conference

Goalkeeper

Martin Dubravka - It's highly unlikely that Nick Pope will miraculously return tomorrow, so M-Dubz it is.

Defence

Kieran Trippier - Probably didn't get enough credit for his part in last week's win. Good to see him back on form.

Fabian Schar - We'll need him for his goals seeing as we have no striker.

Sven Botman - Going to have a fun time tracking Dominic Solanke.

Dan Burn - Howe's golden boy will definitely start, especially after recovering so well last week after being embarrassed for pace by Anthony Elanga.

Midfield

Sean Longstaff - Another one who has been quite hungry in front of goal lately, he could come in clutch tomorrow.

Bruno Guimaraes - If he plays like he did last week then we'll be golden.

Lewis Miley - He was a bit anonymous last week but appeared to have been asked to play a bit deeper to allow Bruno to push up. Wasn't bad, just not as prominent as usual.

Forwards

Miguel Almiron - Miggy back in his usual spot as Jacob Murphy hasn't trained this week.

Anthony Gordon - Striker for a day, Gordon will play through the middle unless, as we suspect might happen, Alexander Isak is passed fit.

Harvey Barnes - It's a bit of a risk starting Barnes so soon after returning from injury, but he looks good to go and frankly we have few options.
