If you've ever watched an Eddie Howe press conference, you may be aware of one journalist, Louise Taylor, who seems to have a very anti-Newcastle United agenda.

The Guardian scribe earned the wrath of many a Newcastle fan earlier this season with her constant pointed questions regarding Sandro Tonali.

She seemed absolutely determined to get Eddie Howe to say something bad about Tonali, but of course, Howe handled the moments - yes, she did it more than once - with his usual grace.

Now, Taylor has offered up her thoughts on what Newcastle must do while their stadium upgrade/new build takes place.

Our new temporary home? Nope. No. Nah.

Louise Taylor has suggested a groundshare with Sunderland

Taylor has suggested that Newcastle will groundshare with Sunderland while works are carried out. I mean, yes, it's the only suitable stadium within a reasonable distance, but as if that would ever happen.

"Either option [expansion or new stadium] will almost certainly prompt months of planning wrangles, not to mention the likely need to share the Stadium of Light with Sunderland while a potential rebuild takes place. That would be unpopular in some quarters but there seems no realistic alternative."

While Sunderland's hierarchy were more than happy to transform the Stadium of Light into a black and white haven last year for the FA Cup tie, we're sure they've learned their lessons after that faux pas.

Could that stadium even handle it?

Neither set of fans is going to accept a groundshare like that.

Quite how the club will work around this issue is anyone's guess right now, but having our lot heading to the Stadium of Light every other week is an absolute non-starter.

Plus, do we even know if the ground can actually handle a game at full capacity? It's never been tested yet, has it?
