Chelsea to be without key man on Saturday when Newcastle United travel to Stamford Bridge
Newcastle United take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday in the 5:30pm kick-off live on Sky Sports.
This would have been the second of three consecutive meetings between the two sides had the Champions League draw turned out differently.
As it is, Newcastle come into this game off the back of a quality performance against Barcelona on Tuesday night that was unfortunate to only earn them a draw.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will be licking their wounds after being battered 5-2 by Paris Saint-Germain last night.
Estevao will not be fit to face Newcastle on Saturday
With a bit of luck, that contrast in midweek fortunes will play into Newcastle's hands, and the Magpies will get another three points on the board to keep their Premier League season alive.
To make things a little bit easier for Eddie Howe, Chelsea will be without their exciting teenager, Eetevao, according to ESPN Brasil
The 18-year-old Brazilian has been ruled out of this weekend's game with an injury, which is a huge loss for Liam Rosenior.
Chelsea have plenty of backup for Estevao
That's not to say that Chelsea don't have plenty of other options who can cause Newcastle problems. Former Toon target Joao Pedro is starting to really show why we chased him for as long as we did.
They also have the likes of Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto and in-form Alejandro Garnacho, so they are hardly going to be impotent without Estevao.
Still, we're going to take any small win we can ahead of what will be a difficult evening in the capital.
