Today has seen another Newcastle United fixture change as TNT Sports picks the Magpie's clash with Manchester United for live broadcast.
It seems fitting that on the day we have a big rant about TV rights holders messing with the fixture list and causing fans problems we have a new kick-off time for the December clash with Manchester United.
Not to mention the fact that today is the 27-year anniversary of the famous Howay 5-0 too. Man, I'm old!
Newcastle United's home tie against Manchester United which was originally a 3pm kick-off on Saturday 2nd December is now an 8pm kick-off on the same day as TNT Sports will broadcast the game live.
For a change it's not our fans who are being inconvenienced here as the Manchester United fans will now have to find a way to get back to Hampshire late at night when the trains have stopped running.
Many Newcastle fans will probably welcome this change as it gives them even more time to *ahem* warm up in the local watering holes before the game.
The one good thing here is they've announced the change in plenty of time for both sets of fans to make arrangements for the day.
And given the timing of the announcement, let's take it as a sign that it'll be another 5-0 humping for the Mags!
