Newcastle United defeated Tottenham Hotspur at St James' Park once again but this time the Mags were made to work for it.

Recently under Eddie Howe, Newcastle have enjoyed free-scoring games when Spurs come to town, but that wasn't the case on Sunday afternoon as the Magpies continued their current trend of only playing the first and last 15 minutes of games.

In fairness, Newcastle are unbeaten this season so it's working, but it's awful to watch.

Nobody summed up Newcastle's new style of play more perfectly than Jacob Murphy, however. The winger came on as a substitute and gave the ball away four times in a short space of time and still went on to bag an assist. Jekyll and Hyde football at its finest.

Callum Wilson didn't let Jacob Murphy forget

As much as Murph made himself the hero by giving Alexander Isak the easiest goal he'll ever score, Callum Wilson wasn't going to let him forget about his earlier transgressions.

Wilson was by the changing room door greeting the players as they came back in and you can hear him ribbing Murphy about his sloppy passing.

"The first four you gave away, Murph. It's about the team, mate, not about you."
