Newcastle United's social media team have done it again. They're always getting the players to play daft little games - essentially making them dance for our amusement and we're all for it.

The latest competition sees Sandro Tonali, Lewis Hall, Alex Murphy, Lloyd Kelly, Mark Gillespie, Will Osula, Odysseas Vlachodimos and Sean Longstaff face off in bid to see who can draw the best representation of the current club crest.

I've always had one big issue with the current Newcastle badge and that was that it is a pig to draw. I've never been blessed with artistic skills so I couldn't even draw the circular NUFC badge proudly displayed on the current third kit, so I had no chance with the latest one.

Thankfully, it seems I'm not alone in struggling to draw the current badge as our players didn't fair much better. Well, most of them.

Sandro Tonali took his task very seriously

While most of the players struggled, holding the whiteboard up as they sat in their chairs inside the indoor pitch at the training ground, Sandro Tonali took a different approach.

Lying face down on the artificial grass kicking his legs up in the air (that part is just in my imagination), Tonali put together a masterpiece.

As someone on Instagram commented - "I didn't realise we'd signed Leonardo Da Vinci."

Sandro Tonali - An artist of a generation

Everyone else's efforts were pretty poor if we're being honest - about as good, if not worse than what I could have created, but Tonali, with limited time and the wrong tools created a work of art.

We are now waiting for Tonali's art to adorn gallery walls in years to come, he's got the skills.

At least he's got something to fall back on after his football career, eh?
