'When the juice is flowing': Jacob Murphy gives priceless interview as he scoops another Player of the Match award

Jacob Murphy has picked up another Player of the Match award after his part in Newcastle United's 5-0 demolition of Crystal Palace.

The Newcastle winger added another goal and an assist to his tally in the game against Palace continuing his rich vein of form which started in December.

Murphy opened the scoring for Newcastle with a goal from out wide which looked like a case of "Anything Sandro Tonali can do, I can do better".

His assist came from a free-kick deep in first-half stoppage time with Kieran Trippier rolling the ball sideways to Murphy who floated an inch-perfect cross for Fabian Schar to nod home.

Jacob Murphy was feeling juicy once again

After the game, Murphy spoke to the Sky Sports studio where he was asked if he meant his goal after Sandro Tonali had admitted his was supposed to be a cross. Jamie Redknapp said to Murphy that it looked like a pure strike and he knew what he was doing.

"Well thank you very much for that because I did mean it, yeah.

"When the juice is flowing, as I say, you've just got to hit it."

Murphy has been extra juicy lately and long may it continue. You could see when watching the replay of his goal that it was deliberate, he didn't look at who was in the box, he only looked up at the goal before he hit it.

Jamie Redknapp went on to praise Murphy for keeping alive the lost art of crossing. Murphy gave credit to his improved crossing to former Newcastle man Matt Ritchie for helping him out before he left.

Matt Ritchie will be in the Sky Sports studio on Saturday night as Jacob Murphy and Newcastle United take on Aston Villa in another huge game.
