The Premier League season is back and so too is Chris Sutton predicting the scores for the BBC.
Newcastle United take on newly promoted Southampton at St James' Park on Saturday in a traditional 3pm kick-off to get their seasons underway.
Everything looks to be stacked in Newcastle's favour in the Ryan Fraser derby - a home tie against a newly promoted side - it should be a walk in the park for the Magpies.
However, the first game of the season is never as straightforward as that - look at Aston Villa's first game last season and where they finished in the league. What was their result on the opening day again? Oh yes, they lost 5-1 to the Mighty Mags, that's right.
As always, we leave the score predictions to those with less bias because it hurts us too much to predict a loss, so let's have a look at what Chris Sutton has said about Newcastle v Southampton on the BBC website.
"This is another tough game for one of the promoted sides.
"Newcastle have got some quality players and they are also such a powerful, physical and relentless outfit.
"Southampton will know what is coming, but I am not sure they will be able to stop it happening.
"Sutton's prediction: 3-0"
A big win predicted by Sutton which mirrors that of Paul Merson with both pundits going for a 3-0 win for the Magpies.
We don't like to predict the scores, but we are confident on the result and we back a Newcastle win tomorrow. How can we not?
A 3-0 win or higher would be great to set out our intentions, but not imperative. A win will be enough for the confidence and we can just keep on building from there.
