Outgoing transfers are inevitable for Newcastle United this summer with a few first-team players potentially on the chopping block.

Eddie Howe has played down the idea of there being a huge squad shake-up this summer, mostly due to budgetary constraints, but with three incomings already on the horizon before the transfer window has even opened, we feel there's going to be plenty of comings and goings.

There are many fringe players that need moving on but there are also a few who were part of this season's squad whose usefulness has expired.

Everyone will have their own opinions on who should stay and who should go, naturally, but we're probably all thinking of the same players who are "at risk".

Miggy's time at Newcastle is coming to an end

One of those has to be Miguel Almiron. The £21million winger whose Newcastle career highs and lows reads like blueprints for the world's most vomit-inducing rollercoaster.

Miggy was almost shifted in January when Al-Shabab came knocking for the 30-year-old but the deal fell through with Almiron wanting to stay put.

Rumours strongly suggested that Newcastle were actively trying to sell Miggy and are prepared to do so again this summer.

Almiron's agent claims Newcastle want him to stay

Almiron's agent, Daniel Campos, has a different version, however, stating that there has been plenty of interest in Miggy but Newcastle don't want to sell.

As journalist Mark Douglas said in his X post confirming this - we will see.

We also have Mark's scepticism on this one, it very much feels like the club won't be standing in his way should offers come in. He's fallen down the pecking order behind Jacob Murphy for a start and then we just have to look at the club accepting a bid in January. The signs point towards the exit.
