Bruno Guimaraes posts hilarious message on X after 'best of' video does the rounds online

It can not be understated just how important Bruno Guimaraes has become to Newcastle United since his January 2022 move.

Newcastle were almost instantly elevated to contender status upon his arrival, and it's hardly a coincidence that when Bruno doesn't play, Newcastle don't win. In fact, if Bruno has an off game the team tends to as well.

Thankfully Bruno's off days are few and far between and Newcastle quite often have the benefit of having a world-class player in the middle of the park. You only have to cast your mind back to the game against Wolves on Saturday to see exactly how good he can be - that no-look pass to Miguel Almiron, anyone?

Guimaraes has become a cult hero on Tyneside and it's not just because of what he does on the pitch. Off it he is almost always smiling, always up for a laugh in interviews and has the most infectious giggle ever.

He's even got a good tweet in his locker like the one he put out last night. Reposting a video showing the best of Bruno this season, the ever-humble Brazilian reposted it to his account.

We're only a couple of months away from having to live through endless rumours of Bruno moving on with his release clause still looming large. For the record, we don't think he'll move on just yet even if Newcastle fail to qualify for Europe.

Bruno has stated time and time again that he's happy here we reckon he'll give us another year to get back into the Champions League. If we fail to reach it again next season then we might have to brace ourselves for the worst. But let's not think about that eh?
