Newcastle United can boast having one of the world's best players among their ranks these days as Alexander Isak attracts high praise from all over the footballing world.
Many pundits will highlight how Isak is unique in the fact that he's not just a one-trick pony. There's probably no better finisher in world football than Erling Haaland, but beyond being able to find the net, his actual football skills are lacking. He's a unit of a target man with an unnatural ability to score, but beyond that, he doesn't have much else.
Harry Kane, similarly, has a knack for finding the net and loves to come deep to collect the ball, but once he gets rid of it, he forgets to get back into the box to be a target and often chances will go begging.
Alexander Isak, meanwhile, has everything. He can come deep and take the ball into the box, beating players with ease, he can be a poacher, he can finish from outside the box, and he'll gladly assist his teammates rather than taking the shot on himself. If there was one thing he could work on, it's decision-making in one-on-one situations, but nobody's perfect.
TalkSPORT launched a poll to find out who is the best striker in the world right now and Alexander Isak absolutely walked it, picking up 45% of the vote.
Second place in the poll was Erling Haaland with just 17% of the vote with Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappe rounding off the list.
It would be easy, as a cynical Newcastle fan (like me) to believe that this result was part of a push from the legendary Toon Polls to gather the Toon Army to vote, but having looked at his X timeline, we're not seeing it, so this may be a legitimate result.
Of course, we would be foolish not to acknowledge that fans of Alexander Isak's owners Arsenal won't have chipped in with votes too, after all, they are the keepers of his soul for all eternity.
With Isak, Sandro Tonali, Anthony Gordon, Bruno Guimaraes, Sven Botman and Lewis Hall, the future of Newcastle United is very bright indeed.
Hanging on to these players is always going to be a challenge and a source of frustration in every transfer window, but we've done it so far.
