Alexander Isak nominated for PFA Player of the Month Award - Let's get voting

Alexander Isak was nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month for the second month in a row after picking up the award in December, and now he's received a PFA Fans' Player of the Month nomination for January.

While Newcastle Untied's form has faltered slightly lately, Alexander Isak's goal-scoring exploits have continued by doubling up against Southampton after firing a blank against Bournemouth. Unfortunately, that was followed by another blank against Fulham, but that game was in February, so it doesn't damage his January numbers.

With five goals in four games it was a good month for Isak and the Sweden striker could now potentially scoop two Player of the Month awards.

Like with the Premier League nomination, Isak is up against some strong competition, but this is a fan-based poll, so the more of us who vote, the more likely he is to win.

Isak will have to see off competition from Justin Kluivert who netted a hat-trick against Newcastle at St James' Park last month, so Isak beating him to the Player of the Month award may be as close as we get to revenge for that.

Alleged Newcastle target Bryan Mbeumo is also up for the award alongside Amad Diallo of Manchester United, formerly of Sunderland, so beating him is a must.
