Newcastle United are about to take on Fulham in the FA Cup fourth round live on ITV at 7pm.

Eddie Howe is without two players who have been heavily touted with a move away from the club as Miguel Almiron and Jamaal Lascelles miss out on the trip to Craven Cottage.

There have been reports that the club are trying to sell Miguel Almiron and the player was spotted entering the RVI yesterday which led to speculation that he was undergoing a medical ahead of a move. Although, Newcastle would not use the RVI for that kind of thing and would instead use the Nuffield.

Almiron and Lascelles are highly suspicious absentees

The official line is that Almiron is ill and that's why he misses out today, but we'd not be surprised to see him depart the club in the coming days.

Jacob Murphy is the one difference in our lineup

Equally suspicious is the absence of Jamaal Lascelles amid speculation that he could be off to Turkey to join Besiktas.

Again, the official story is that Lascelles is injured, but like Almiron, we expect to hear a different story in the near future.

Jacob Murphy returns to the starting XI

The good news is that Jacob Murphy has recovered from his shoulder injury and is fit enough to start in what would be the only difference to our predicted lineup.

Murphy tried an early comeback after dislocating his shoulder after a bad fall against Borussia Dortmund. His return against Arsenal saw him set up a goal moments before he suffered a reoccurrence of his injury.

The winger had been in superb form before his injury so we'll be hoping he can pick up where he left off. Meanwhile, there's a new name on the bench in 18-year-old Norwegian Travis Hernes in another move by Eddie Howe to show the owners how badly we need new first-team players.
