Newcastle United fans have been waiting patiently to get their hands on the new Adidas away kit after the designs leaked months ago.
Supply issues saw the away kit's launch pushed back as the third kit was launched in its place but now we have a date when we can expect to see Newcastle awash with maroon and blue hoops again.
Based on the away kit from the 90's, nicknamed the David Ginola kit, the new Adidas away kit will have maroon and blue hoops with white detailing (the 90's kit was more of a cream colour detail).
We've seen plenty of images of the shirt online, particularly when the Adidas store in New York got a bit ahead of itself and put it in their store,
The bad news is that you won't be wearing it if you're heading to the Sela Weekender tonight or tomorrow, but the good news is that you won't have to wait much longer to get your mitts on it.
The brief tease put out via the club's X account reveals the date to be 13th August, so we have just four more sleeps until the next Toon Christmas.
We imagine then, that we'll be seeing plenty of replica shirts in the stands for the season opener against Southampton next Saturday.
As keen as we are to see the shirts live and in person, we're quite excited to see what's in store for the launch video.
If we're not grabbing the wrong end of the stick here, we assume that the teasing clip we saw today was a snippet of the full launch video.
It looks as though they've gone with a retro-themed video with a slight grain filter applied to the video of a train passing by, which would make sense given the retro-themed kit, but if they've somehow managed to convince David Ginola to make an appearance in the new shirt we're going to lose our collective minds.
