Newcastle United continue to shop in the Cherry aisle as another Bournemouth player linked to Magpies

Newcastle United really do love browsing the market in Bournemouth. After reporting the other day that Newcastle had three Cherries players on their summer shopping list, another has now been added.

The Magpies have a pretty blatant connection to Bournemouth in the form of Eddie Howe, but even he inherited a handful of former Bournemouth players when he arrived at Newcastle.

His inherited squad contained Ryan Fraser, Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie, all of whom he had worked with on the South Coast.

In the summer, Howe added his own Bournemouth man by bringing in Lloyd Kelly on a free transfer. Although of the aforementioned, only Callum Wilson remains ... for now.

However, Newcastle have been strongly tipped to replenish their Bournemouth reserves this summer with Antoine Semenyo, Justin Kluivert and Dean Huijsen all linked with a move.

Now, Caught Offside are claiming that Newcastle have another Bournemouth man in their sights in the form of in-form Dango Outarra who could be available for £33 million.

Their report names Aston Villa as the most keen on Outarra but Newcastle are said to be looking on with interest along with AC Milan and Napoli.

We don't expect Dango Outarra to be near the top of Newcastle's wishlist

The 23-year-old Burkino Faso international is having a good season with Bournemouth scoring seven goals and assisting four in his 26 Premier League appearances.

Outarra has been deployed on each flank effectively and has even deputised at left-back this season. You know how much we love a bit of versatility.

However, we're not sure that Outarra would feature very highly on Newcastle's wishlist given some of the other names that have been linked, and how long we've been looking at them compared to Outarra, but we could certainly do a lot worse.
