We all have our routines we tend to stick to when it comes to shopping, you might be an ASDA person, or a Tesco loyalist and it seems that a similar thing applies to Newcastle United who like shopping for players at AFC Bournemouth.

Matt Ritchie, Ryan Fraser, Callum Wilson and Lloyd Kelly all joined Newcastle United from Bournemouth, and three of those four joined before Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall, famous for their time at The Cherries arrived.

This summer Newcastle are being heavily tipped to raid Eddie Howe's former club again with Justin Kluivert, Antoine Semenyo and Dean Huijsen all being targeted by the Magpies.

Of the three, Dean Huijsen is perhaps the highest priority for Eddie Howe having missed out on the Spain international in the summer before he joined Bournemouth from Juventus.

Justin Kluivert says Dean Huijsen is 'truly amazing'

Dean Huijsen has been so good for Bournemouth this season that even Justin Kluivert told MARCA everyone is expecting him to move on in the summer.

“He plays for Bournemouth with me. He is a great player. Spain has a phenomenon for so many years.

“He is truly amazing. He came to England in the summer and adapted fantastically. He is so young and he already plays for Spain – and he plays like this.

“I’m sure he will have a lot of offers in the summer. And we all know that next year he won’t be with us at Bournemouth.”

David Ornstein recently downplayed Newcastle's chances of signing Huijsen

Huijsen has a reported £50 million release clause which becomes active this summer and after impressing this season, it seems inevitable that someone will activate that clause.

Newcastle have been admirers for a while, but there is expected to be plenty of competition for his signature.

Recently, David Ornstein said that he doesn't believe Newcastle's chances of landing Huijsen will be very high given the other clubs likely to join the race which is expected to include the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.

We shall see, Ornstein. We shall see.
