Newcastle United are currently advertising a full-time "Ticketing Assistant" vacancy on their careers page, offering a competitive salary, employee bonus scheme, free city centre parking, and more in return.

Here's all of the information about the job, including the day-to-day responsibilities, candidate requirements, and everything someone would need to know before applying.

A great opportunity to work at the stadium

The role, which is a full-time position for 35 hours per week plus all home matchdays, is intended for an enthusiastic and talented individual to support the club's Ticketing operation.

In terms of requirements for applying, the club are looking to hire someone with customer service experience, who has strong communication skills, and who is confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.

While prior experience using CRM (customer relationship management) software or a ticketing system is desirable, it is not seen as being a deal-breaker as long as a candidate is willing to learn the ropes.

A flexible approach to working is required

If you're confident and assertive, have strong interpersonal skills, and are good at using your initiative to solve any problems that may come up, it might just be the opportunity for you. Ideally, you'd also be an effective time manager and good at prioritising.

Weekend and evening availability is essential given the club's fixture schedule, so this isn't a good fit for someone who cannot be flexible with their hours.

Newcastle are only taking applications for the role until Monday 16th October and may close the listing early if they receive a high volume of qualified candidates.
