If Newcastle United end the January transfer window without adding a right-winger to the squad then it could be a big problem.
The Magpies have failed to add reinforcements to this area of the pitch for the past couple of years despite it being a clear weakness in the squad, and the performance against Brighton on Saturday hammered home the point of just how desperate we are for new ideas up front.
Jacob Murphy and Miguel Almiron, as we've said a million times before, have the heart but they clearly don't have the talent to back it up.
Both players got time on the pitch on Saturday and neither were able to create anything of any worth.
A player that Newcastle reportedly have their eye on is Bournemouth's in-form Antoine Semenyo who caused Newcastle no end of trouble earlier in the season.
Football Insider is now claiming that Bournemouth could be open to the sale if someone comes in with a bid of around £40m-£50 million.
However, they go on to say that a move would be unlikely in January and that interested clubs will likely have to wait until the Summer.
Tottenham and Arsenal are also keen on the 24-year-old, so if Newcastle want to get in ahead of them then surely they should be making a move in January to test the waters.
Whether it's Semenyo or someone else, we can't see it working out very well for Newcastle if they don't add a winger in January.
Even if that's the only piece of incoming business we do this time around and we save the bulk of our business for the summer, just get us a new right-sided forward.
