Alan Shearer has posted his Premier League Team of the Week and has included three Newcastle players.
The Magpies smashed Crystal Palace 4-0 on Saturday in one of the best team performances in recent seasons.
We gave three players a score of 10, as well as a couple of 9's, as Eddie Howe's side dominated the game and won comfortably.
Alan Shearer was extremely complimentary about the performance on Match of the Day, highlighting the interplay between Kieran Trippier, Sean Longstaff, and Jacob Murphy down Newcastle's right-hand side as a key to the victory.
You'd think, then, that those would be the three players Shearer would have selected in his Team of the Week, but only two of that trio made the cut: Trippier and Murphy.
For our part, we'd have liked to have seen Fabian Schär included, given he kept a clean sheet defensively, but was also spraying passes out of defence like a man possessed.
However, Shearer's third choice was, rather bizarrely, Nick Pope.
Obviously, Pope kept a clean sheet and did make a nice save late on from a free-kick, but other than that, he was barely tested.
It was a strange inclusion from the Newcastle legend, but still, who are we to argue with Big Al?
