Leaked images give Newcastle United fans a better look at what is rumoured to be the 2025/26 home shirt

Adidas and Newcastle United have had one hell of a first year reunited after the German sportswear giant returned as the club's official kit partner after many years away.

All three kits released for the 2024/25 season sold very well with every design praised by the fans.

Now as the season comes to a close, the Newcastle fans are getting excited about what is to come next year. Or at least they were before the latest kit design leaked.

Believed to be pretty much how the new kit will look, the faded stripe design has divided opinion.

Do you prefer the faded stripes or the shepherd's check design?

We covered the design recently and wondered whether the faded stripes were an effect as it has been said to have 'colour shifting' material, but another couple of images have surfaced online and it looks as though it is a set pattern.

While the leaked design has its detractors, it looks better than the shepherd's check design that was touted a few months ago in my opinion.

Even whether people like the design or not, we're sure it will still sell well. We don't have to like it to wear it with pride.

We are waiting on some leaks for the away and third kits

We're still waiting for images of what the away and third kits may look like, with the away strip expected to be inspired by the 1997/98 kit which was predominantly blue with an offset orange and green stripe.

It's expected that the colours will be used for the away kit, not so much stealing the asymmetrical design.

As has become customary since the takeover, the third kit will likely be green and white as a hat tip to our Saudi owners.
