Newcastle United is one big family, but that's even more true if your name is Longstaff or Miley as they are the latest brothers to share their time together in the squad.

Lewis Miley's older brother Jamie recently left the club to join Hartlepool, while Matty Longstaff joined Toronto FC in Canada last year but all came through the Newcastle academy alongside their siblings.

After seeing their kin lift the cup on Sunday, Matty and Jamie have penned touching letters to Sean and Lewis respectively and, I'm not going to lie, I got a bit choked up reading them.

The club published the letters on social media for everyone to read and it's clear to see the love these families have for each other and the sheer pride they all have as Newcastle supporters seeing one of their own lift a trophy.

Sean Longstaff was all but set to leave Newcastle in January but he asked to stay on with Newcastle on course for another Wembley final. Great decision and we're glad the club allowed him to stick around to experience the day.

Meanwhile, Lewis Miley has impressed fans and pundits alike since he broke into the first team, and while he didn't get to play in the game on Sunday, we're sure he'll get plenty of other chances to do so with this team.

Miley is a player Newcastle simply must keep hold of, as his potential is massive.
