Newcastle United absolutely dominated against Manchester United at Old Trafford for the majority of the game, particularly in the opening half-hour.
We've said since Sandro Tonali arrived at the Toon that if Eddie Howe can get him and Bruno Guimaraes to click and keep Joelinton at the top of his game, we'd have one of the best midfields in the Premier League.
Now that Howe has stumbled upon that formula and the midfield three are working together in perfect harmony, we'd be hard-pressed to think of a midfield trio better than ours.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher has said pretty much the same thing in the studio after the game before tearing into Manchester United.
Man United forward Joshua Zirkzee hasn't taken well to the Premier League and was booed off by his own fans as he left the pitch on 33 minutes and headed off down the tunnel before coming back out to take his place on the bench. It all seemed a bit much for the 23-year-old, so we almost feel bad that Carragher has stuck the boot in again.
"I think Newcastle's midfield can go up against any in the Premier League. It's got a little bit of everything and we saw that in the first half.
"When you speak to Eddie Howe, he still talks about the PSR issue they've had. Jacob Murphy has done really well, but you can see they lack someone really special on the right side. I think that will be their next big signing.
"We knew tonight they would be on the front foot and I didn't think they would take a backward step as why would you? United have been awful, and you just looked at the lack of mobility and athleticism in their team - not just in [Christian] Eriksen and Casemiro.
"Zirkzee can't run, he can't move. I just couldn't see anything other than Newcastle winning that game."
With Joe Willock, Lewis Miley and currently, although maybe not for much longer, Sean Longstaff in reserve should one of the main trio of midfielders be missing, we're pretty well stacked with each player bringing something different.
It's still the right wing that's the issue though, and Jacob Murphy showed why he's not the answer tonight despite his recent run of form. Tonight he was anonymous, which proves that as good as he can be, he lacks the consistency we need.
With the other 10 players on the pitch playing like they did tonight, however, we can forgive Murphy this time.
