Newcastle United host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Wednesday night with a 7:30pm kick-off live on TNT Sports.

Eddie Howe made nine changes to his starting XI on Sunday when League Two Bromley visited Newcastle for the FA Cup third-round tie, but it's back to the Champions League chase for the Magpies on Wednesday.

Newcastle lost Harvey Barnes to a thigh injury on Sunday, and there were a few players rested as they had minor niggles, but Howe has hinted that he should have those players back for tomorrow.

Alexander Isak, Sven Botman and Jacob Murphy are minor doubts, but we're thinking positively, and we believe that all three will be back and that two of the three will start.

Back to the likely lads

Goalkeeper

Martin Dubravka - He's still here. Nick Pope is still injured. M-Dubz it is.

Defenders

Tino Livramento - Kieran Trippier captained the side on Sunday but it's time to step aside and let Tino back in to do his thing.

Fabian Schar - Fabi missed two games before returning to the starting lineup on Sunday and we expect he'll keep his place tomorrow with Sven Botman on the bench.

Dan Burn - It would be so very harsh to drop Burn after the season he is having so we expect he will keep Botman out of the side for now while the Dutchman builds up to full fitness.

Lewis Hall - Such a massive player for Newcastle this season and one of the first names on the teamsheet we're sure.

Midfielders

Bruno Guimaraes (c) - Bruno turned the game around when he came on at half time on Sunday, providing that extra impetus to push Newcastle on. He'll be raring to go again.

Sandro Tonali - The Italian has been instrumental in Newcastle's recent run of results. Our midfield is nothing short of spectacular.

Joelinton - Big Joey might be getting worried for his place after the brilliant performance from Lewis Miley on Sunday, but he's unlikely to get the chop just yet.

Forwards

Jacob Murphy - Murph was one of the players left out on Sunday with a niggle, but we need him back to team up with ...

Alexander Isak - The Swedish striker is looking to break a NUFC record by scoring on Wednesday. We're sure Murphy will oblige by putting one on a plate for him.

Anthony Gordon - Along with Bruno Guimaraes, his half time introduction pushed Newcastle into another gear on Sunday. A massive influence on the team.

Super-sub Harvey Barnes will be missing from the bench, but we're sure that Lewis Miley will be given a seat after his outstanding performance against Bromley. We wonder if Will Osula has earned himself a cameo, too, after his blinding strike to round off the scoring on Sunday.
