Newcastle United put in such an accomplished performance against Arsenal last night that it's practically impossible to pick out a star man.
Thankfully, that's a problem for Rich and not me. Good luck!
Sky Sports went with Alexander Isak as their Player of the Match, which is fair; we've seen shouts for Bruno Guimaraes, Sven Botman, Sandro Tonali and Kieran Trippier.
It was the latter that seemingly caught Alan Shearer's eye last night as the former Newcastle striker replied to Trippier's post on Instagram following the game to offer words of praise.
We're not sure why Shearer opted to offer up his words of encouragement in the style of Yoda from Star Wars but we dig it.
"Awesome tonight you were 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻"
In truth, Trippier was awesome, and he fully earned that full-time cramp as he never stopped all game.
We've seen Eddie Howe wheel out that formation a couple of times and it certainly looks to be the answer when coming into tough games.
To think that we almost lost Trippier in the last three windows too and that he's actively looking to leave Newcastle, he still put in a top, top shift yesterday.
This is exactly why we'd love him to return to the club when he hangs up his boots. The man is a born leader and looks destined to be a coach/manager in the future, and he might as well hang around and learn from Eddie Howe.
