Eddie Howe this morning confirmed that there will be no players returning from injury for tomorrow's clash with Manchester United.

Although Howe will be able to put out a slightly stronger bench than he was able to mid-week in the Champions League, Newcastle United's squad will still look depleted when that team sheet is released at 7pm tomorrow night.

We expect the likes of Lewis Hall, Paul Dummett, Matt Ritchie and Emil Krafth to be on the bench again while the starting eleven will be the same as the one that hammered Chelsea and should have beaten Paris Saint-Germain.

That means a third successive start for 17-year-old Lewis Miley and another outing for Alexander Isak who looked like he had absolutely nothing left by the end of the game on Tuesday night.

Newcastle United 9
Same again, lads?

Goalkeeper

Nick Pope - After an outstanding game in Paris his confidence must be sky-high.

Defence

Tino Livramento - Tino has been so good at left-back he might even keep the spot when Dan Burn and Matt Targett return from injury.

Fabian Schar - Mr Dependable was outstanding on Tuesday, it's amazing just how integral he's become since Steve Bruce almost ruined him.

Jamaal Lascelles - We still don't miss Sven Botman and that's the highest possible praise we can give.

Kieran Trippier - Tripps is back! Two blinding performances in a row, those pre-break sub-par outings are a distant memory.

Midfield

Joelinton - It's now two years since Eddie Howe created the monster. Celebrate in style, Big Joe.

Bruno Guimaraes - Where would we be without this man? Even on a bad day he's class.

Lewis Miley - He can do no wrong in our eyes.

Forwards

Anthony Gordon - Nominated for Player of the Month for November and should have been for every month since the season started.

Alexander Isak - Looked paggered on Tuesday night by the end of the game but will gain more fitness and stamina the more he plays.

Miguel Almiron - Miggy must have had eight espressos before the game on Tuesday as he was like lightning up and down the flank. More of the same tomorrow please.
