Shola and Sammy Ameobi, Sean and Matty Longstaff and now Jamie and Lewis Miley - Newcastle United like to keep things in the family.

Brothers playing for Newcastle United with the Robledo brothers starting the trend in the 50s and now with the current day progression of Lewis And Jamie Miley it feels like just a matter of time before we see another set of brothers take to the field for the Magpies.

But just in case the odds of that are too high, Newcastle have moved to shorten them recently by signing 15-year-old Mason Miley to a scholarship deal.

Mason Miley has already broken into the U18s and The Chronicle states that Newcastle's coaches are impressed by the youngster and have opted to keep him around.

Jamie, Lewis, Mason and Layton Miley - Layton just has to be different doesn't he?

The Miley brothers are creating a Newcastle United legacy

Another midfielder like his older brothers, Mason will be looking to take this opportunity with both hands in a bid to have a Miley Midfield in the first-team someday.

Youngest Miley brother Layton has signed for Sunderland, but no family is perfect. The Miley family is close though.

Jamie Miley was involved in Eddie Howe's pre-season plans and many fans were expecting him to see some first-team action this season but he secured himself a loan move to League Two Newport County

Can we get a pre-season glimpse of the Miley Midfield?

Lewis Miley is actually younger than Jamie and he made it into the first team ahead of Jamie, but we expect that the eldest won't be beaten to the punch by Mason, although stranger things have happened.

It's obviously unlikely to happen for a while, but how good would it be to see all three Mileys take to the pitch together? Even just as a pre-season stunt? Howay Eddie.

Will we go and poach Layton from Sunderland now just for kicks?
