Newcastle United go in search of their ninth win in a row in all competitions tonight as Wolverhampton Wanderers visit St James' Park in a 7:30pm kick-off live on TNT Sports.

Eddie Howe has made nine changes from the side that defeated Bromley at St James' Park on Sunday with only Joelinton and Martin Dubravka keeping their spot in the team.

We had anticipated eight changes in our lineup prediction, believing that Eddie Howe would use Sven Botman from the bench, but Fabian Schar is nowhere to be seen in the squad with no explanation at the time of writing.

Otherwise, it's as we predicted for the lineup.

Can Alexander Isak make it nine in nine?

Annoyingly, the first lineup graphic I made did have Sven Botman over Fabian Schar but I second-guessed myself. Whoops.

Alexander Isak and Jacob Murphy, as well as Botman and Joe Willock have all overcome their injury niggles, and the deadly duo up front will be looking to keep their current form going.

Isak particularly will be hoping to get on the scoresheet to become the first Newcastle United player to score in eight consecutive games.

Matheus Cunha isn't banned after all - silly me

Meanwhile, Vitor Periera has named Newcastle's Wolves nemesis in the starting lineup. Hwang Hee-chan, who loves a goal against Newcastle is in from the start with Matheus Cunha on the bench after serving his ban in the games against Nottingham Forest and Bristol City.

Wolves have picked up in form since Pereira came in, but they were defeated in the Premier League last time out by an impressive Nottingham Forest, and with Newcastle trying to keep pace with Forest, we'll be hoping to replicate their success.
