Newcastle United will team up with fan-favourite kit designer Adidas once again starting next season.
As was revealed in the Amazon documentary - albeit earlier than planned - Newcastle United have signed a bumper deal with Adidas to be their kit supplier from the 2024/25 season replacing Castore.
The Castore deal was one of the last remaining pieces of the Mike Ashley empire and while their designs have been good, their quality and customer service has left a lot to be desired.
Adidas meanwhile, still holds a special place in Geordie hearts after manufacturing some of the most iconic kits in recent memory.
Today Footy Headlines has shared that Newcastle's deal with the German sportswear giant qualifies them as an 'elite' club for the brand.
That puts them alongside Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Flamengo as the Adidas elite.
Footy Headlines goes on to state that Newcastle will go into the lowest tier of the elite teams, but we're still in there and that's good enough for us.
It's believed that the first kits to be worn next season will be designed to evoke the memories of the 1990's kits that were so popular. It also means that our third kit will sport the classic trefoil logo which is being reserved for Adidas elite clubs.
We can't wait to see what they're going to do.
