Water is wet, sky is blue and Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson is injured.
Wilson made his return to the starting lineup to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday and while the 31-year-old was largely anonymous all game, he did manage to get himself into a tangle at the end of the game which seemed to have caused him some discomfort.
In fact, the striker could be seen using his shirt as a makeshift sling as he exited the pitch at full-time giving Eddie Howe and the Toon Army great cause for concern, especially with Alexander Isak also still injured.
After the game Eddie Howe told Sky Sports that it wasn't a shoulder injury, but he wasn't sure what the issue is.
This morning, Craig Hope has provided an update via The Daily Mail and has confirmed that Wilson is now a doubt to face his former club ... again.
Hope has revealed that Wilson has injured his pectoral muscle and a call will be made later this week as to whether the pain will be managed enough for Wilson to play any part in Saturday's game.
This latest injury again highlights Newcastle's need to bring in another striker in the summer. Preferably one that isn't made out of papier-mache and cottage cheese and can play more than two games in a row.
As much as I love Callum Wilson, even I'm at the point where I think it might be time for us to part ways. His goals-per-game ratio is fantastic, sure, but his games-per-season ratio is not.
Also, if I'm being brutally honest, unless he's actually scoring goals, I'm not sure what he's bringing to the table lately. As I said, he was completely anonymous on Saturday, and that's not a one-off, it's the norm this season. I hate to say it, and I believe we need at least three strikers in the squad next season, but I'm not sure Callum Wilson will be one of them.
