The main rail line between Newcastle and London is out of service causing chaos for the Toon Army.
Hundreds of Newcastle fans now face missing out on today's clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after LNER announced just before 8am today that the line between Grantham and Peterbrough was suffering problems with the overhead line meaning all services had to be cancelled.
That's left many fans stranded at Grantham as well as hundreds, if not thousands more unable to get to London due to the last-minute nature of the cancellations.
Thanks to the new ticketing system, fans can't even transfer their tickets to other supporters who may be able to get to the game which means the away end this afternoon is set to look rather sparse.
Clearly, fans stuck at Grantham are doing all they can to see the funny side, but you can get they're anything but joyous on the inside.
The match kicks off at 4:30pm and while the club have said they have no contingencies for such situations, resourceful fans will no doubt be doing all they can to ensure they make it in time, although that time is running out.
Given that it was around 8am that the announcement came out there has been plenty of time for the club to do something but it doesn't look like anything is being done from their end.
LNER has been scrambling to get a replacement bus service on while other fans, according to The Chronicle, have opted to get their cars and drive down.
Fingers crossed there'll be plenty who make it to make a noise and roar the lads on to victory.
