Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton had his home broken into back in January and now, just 11 months later it has happened again.

Burglars target footballers' homes, expecting to find plenty of valuables and high-end tech with a lot of their homes getting broken into during games when the criminals know that they won't be in.

Even with their fancy security systems, burglars still try their best and while Joelinton was not home when the latest break-in occurred, a security alert on his phone allowed him to contact the police, but they arrived to find that the burglars had already fled.

Joelinton has now taken to Instagram to deliver a message to wannabe burglars after the latest break in.

Joelinton issues plea to be left to live in peace after second break-in this year

Sharing the message on his Instagram reels, the Brazilian confirmed the latest break-in and issued a plea to be left in peace.

"Our home was broken into again.

"To anyone considering doing this: Please know that there is nothing valuable here!

"What we care about most is our family's safety and our kids growing up without fear. We hope for a community where our children, and everyone's children, feel safe.

"We ask that our home be respected as a safe space for our family. We simply want to live in peace."

We wish nothing but the most uncomfortable of bowel movements for whoever did this

It is the absolute scummiest of behaviour. Taking someone else's property is bad enough, but it's the mental anguish that it causes which is the worst.

Insurance can cover the cost of the items in most cases, but insurance doesn't give you the peace of mind or that feeling of safety in your own home.

Let's be honest; it's not like Joelinton lives in a rough area, you just don't expect it. For it to happen to the man twice in a year is just heartbreaking and infuriating. Mind, we'd love to have heard what would have happened if J7 got hold of them.
