Newcastle United take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at St James' Park tonight live on TNT Sports with a 7:30pm kick-off.

Eddie Howe will be hoping that his Newcastle side can make it nine wins in nine in all competitions as Vitor Pereira brings his rejuvenated Wolves side to Tyneside (or Northumberland if you're the BBC).

Last night's Premier League results were very kind to Newcastle and as such, three points tonight would see the Magpies climb above Chelsea into fourth place in the Premier League.

Fourth place is the magic spot that guarantees a Champions League position, although it's expected that a fifth-placed finish could seal the deal this year thanks to the European coefficient rules that are now in place.

Alexander Isak is looking to break records tonight

Tonight's game is huge for Newcastle United's season

Of course, aiming just for fourth wouldn't be the Eddie Howe way, and there is still everything to play for. Thanks to Chris Sutton for teasing us with thoughts of a Premier League title.

There are no easy games in the Premier League, however, and as fantastic as Newcastle have been lately, they can't take the win for granted tonight and still have to go out there and do the job.

Alexander Isak could break Newcastle's record of scoring in consecutive games with a goal tonight too.

Newcastle have to end a 119-year streak tonight

However, for Newcastle to win tonight, they will have to do something they've not done since 1906, according to Sports Mole.

Newcastle have not done the double of Wolves in the League in 119 years, which is a mind-blowing statistic.

The Magpies won at Molineux in September, and you'd like to think that the St James' Park fixture would be the one which most favours Newcastle, and indeed recent seasons would back that up.

All streaks have to come to an end eventually and we've ended a few already this season. LET'S DO THIS!
