Newcastle United took on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday in front of Sky Sports' live cameras and fans noticed something new at St James' Park.
Part way through the game a vibrant blue advertisement flew across the digital advertising hoardings around the ground displaying the name and logo of massive energy drinks company Red Bull.
It was the first time that Red Bull's name had been seen in and around St James' Park and it seemed extra strange as Newcastle's official energy drink partner was Monster Energy.
However, the club have now announced via X and their official site that they are now partnered with Red Bull.
This comes not long after Red Bull bought a stake in Leeds United which has resulted in their logo now being displayed on the front of their kits.
Red Bull are obviously no strangers to the world of football having bought owning stakes in several clubs such as Red Bull Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg and New York Red Bulls among others.
The Monster Energy logo also disappeared from the club's website over the weekend as spotted by @nufcconceptkits.
Hopefully, this deal is an upgrade on the Monster Energy deal and will serve to bring even more revenue into the club as the board fight to widen the gap in terms of PSR to allow the club to spend more money on players ... provided Paul Mitchell can actually get a deal over the line.
Now I can't stop thinking about Jim Carrey in Yes Man: "You ever had a Red Bull? I've never had a Red Bull before, but I had a Red Bull last night - I really like Red Bull."
