While The Magpies get settled down under ahead of the two friendlies set to be played this week, the club has confirmed that fans back home can keep abreast of the action by watching live.

Newcastle United will take on Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday morning at 10:45am followed by another game on Friday against A-League All Stars Men at 8:15am (both UK times).

The fixture have courted plenty of controversy for their closeness to the ending of the Premier League season and indeed their whopping distance from the UK with both clubs flying to the other side of the world and back again in the space of a week.

Added to that is the fact that both the COPA America and European Championships are set to take place this summer and both Premier League sides have players who are likely to be partaking in both competitions.

Fans in Australia can catch the games on TV

For those of you in Australia who couldn't get to the games, both matches will be shown on Channel 10 in Australia.

Fingers crossed everyone comes through the games okay, especially those hoping to represent their country in tournaments this summer.

As well as that, let's hope that this stunt which has received so much backlash works out and our revenue takes a big jump up.
