Miguel Almiron is one of those players who has benefited massively from the arrival of Eddie Howe at Newcastle United.

Miguel Almiron was signed back in the Rafa Benitez days and was at the time Newcastle's most expensive signing, finally knocking Michael Owen off the top spot.

It seemed to take forever for Miggy to get going in the Premier League and the winger, known for his goals in the MLS, just couldn't find the back of the net in England.

Miggy has become one of the best wingers in the EPL under Howe

He had all the energy in the world but seemingly no idea what to do. It was the same story under Steve Bruce too, but when Eddie Howe came in, all that changed.

It wasn't an overnight change, it's something that has clearly been worked on, but Almiron now looks every part the accomplished winger he was meant to be and he's also found an eye for goal too.

After Newcastle's 1-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday, Squawka posted an impressive stat about Miggy.

People still question whether Eddie Howe is genuinely a top manager

It's one thing for Miggy to have become the first player in the Premier League to successfully dribble past William Saliba, but when you consider just how good Saliba actually was on Saturday, it becomes even more impressive.

It still blows us away how Eddie Howe has improved so many Newcastle players who, just two years ago, fans were ready to throw into the North Sea.

And yet there are still people who question whether he has what it takes to be an elite manager.
