Longstaff & Murphy take part in Newcastle Blue Star training session
There's no denying that Sean Longstaff and Jacob Murphy are two of the most likeable members of what is arguably the most likeable squad and coaching team we've ever had at NUFC.
So, it's not much of a surprise to see them turning up for a pre-season training session with Newcastle Blue Star FC of the Northern Football League. It's still absolutely class, though.
Blue Star club photographer Ben Cuthbertson snapped some great shots of the lads, who were apparently dishing out tactical advice as well as comparing their fitness levels to those in the Blue Star squad.

Newcastle Blue Star's pre-season fixtures kick off at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, 5th July, when they play Wallsend Boys Club at Kirkley Park. Here's their full schedule for 2023/24:
