Anthony Gordon is famed in the Premier League for being absolutely rapid and has been described on several occasions as 'lightning quick' but he might not be the fastest man at Newcastle United.

A few times over the past few seasons, Anthony Gordon has topped the charts as the quickest player clocked in the Premier League on a given weekend with his natural pace a key asset in how he plays his game.

If you've ever played a football video game at any point in your life you know just how much easier things are if you've got a player on your side who can leave defenders in their dust.

Blessed with 91 Pace on EA FC 25, Anthony Gordon will give most other players a run for their money, but now, when selecting which EA FC traits belong to which of his teammates, Lewis Hall has offered up a different take on the club's paciest player.

Lewis Hall seems to know his Newcastle United teammates pretty well

In a game called Mates Traits for the Premier League's YouTube channel, Lewis Hall was tasked with matching up the special trait to his Newcastle United teammates.

When it comes around to "Rapid", Hall is presented with the options of Anthony Gordon, Alexander Isak, Jacob Murphy, Sandro Tonali, Tino Livramento and Harvey Barnes and is told that two of them have the "Rapid" attribute.

Hall correctly identifies Gordon and Isak, but when asked if Gordon is the quickest player at the club, Hall throws in a surprise name as a rival.

The lesser-spotted Will Osula could give Anthony Gordon a run for his money

Lewis Hall says he doesn't know who would win in a race between Gordon and Will Osula.

"Do you know what? I feel like Will Osula. I think him and Ant would be a really good race. I'm not sure who's winning that. Alex is rapid as well. Ant and Will are probably the two quickest in the team."

In the brief glimpses we've had of Will Osula this season we have noticed how he is very confident when it comes to running at his opponent, so it's clear he fancies himself in a foot race.

Hopefully, we'll see more of Osula towards the end of the season and during the next campaign because he does look like an exciting talent, if a little raw.
