Newcastle United didn't have much look with their two biggest summer signings after Sandro Tonali was handed a 10-month ban and Harvey Barnes picked up a toe injury.
Given how long Harvey Barnes has been out injured for you have to wonder what exactly happened to his toe, did it explode?
Regardless, the long wait for the return of the £39million signing from Leicester could be about to come to an end.
It has been a while now since we thought Barnes was due to make a comeback, but it's looking like a realistic possibility now thanks to a reel posted by the player on his Instagram.
As part of the Adidas Predators promo that has featured a lot of Newcastle United, Barnes has now added a photo of himself wearing a pair of the iconic boots.
Of course, it could just be for promo purposes, but as it was suggested in December that he was close to a comeback, it's also just as likely that he's pulling on his boots for a training session.
This would be huge if true, especially with Miguel Almiron's future up in the air as the Magpies try to ship out the Paraguayan before the window closes.
The 26-year-old has only made six Premier League appearances since joining from Leicester in the summer but he managed one goal and one assist in that short spell.
Fingers crossed that this is the start of the comeback as we feel Barnes could be huge for us in the back half of the season.
