It's time to get your votes in for the Premier League Player of the Month for December and you have two Newcastle United players to choose from.

Granted, the fan vote only makes up for a portion of the decision when it comes to the Premier League's player of the month, but if there's one thing Newcastle fans are good at it's overloading a public vote. Isn't it, Burger King?

Both Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak have been nominated for Player of the Month for December, which is hardly surprising.

You can cast your vote by following this link.

Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak had an amazing festive period

Jacob Murphy was amazing in December, racking up goal involvements like it was his job ... wait a minute. In all seriousness, Murphy picked up seven goal involvements in six appearances in December which isn't a bad return at all.

Meanwhile, Alexander Isak tore up the Premier League last month with a whopping 10 goal involvements which included eight goals, including a hat-trick.

We're not telling you which way to vote, but out of the two, there's a clear winner here, although it is a shame that Murphy will get overlooked.

Isak was labeled the 'best striker in the Premier League' for his form in December

Here's the breakdown of the stats for our nominees from the Premier League website:

Alexander Isak (Newcastle)

Swedish striker Isak was the Premier League's top scorer, netting eight times in total and scoring in all six of his appearances, including a hat-trick against Ipswich Town. He was directly involved in 10 goals overall, form that has led Sky Sports pundits Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville to label Isak the best striker in the Premier League.
Jacob Murphy (Newcastle)
P6 W4 D1 L1 G3 A4
Murphy had the third-most goals and assists combined in December. Having assisted only twice all season and failed to score a single goal before December, the winger stepped up incredibly with three goals and four assists as Newcastle lost only one of six matches to go fifth in the table.

If we're being honest, though, it's going to go to Mo Salah after the Egyptian managed seven goals and seven assists in December which is just crazy numbers.
