Callum Wilson in talks to sign for Premier League side playing in claret and blue - It's not Burnley
Last night, it was reported that Callum Wilson was a target for Scott Parker's Burnley as the 33-year-old striker is currently without a club after leaving Newcastle United at the start of the month.
The veteran striker still feels he has plenty to offer and didn't want to remain at Newcastle on a pay-as-you-play deal with limited chances of game time.
With his contract expiring, Wilson opted to leave the club in search of a new venture.
Leeds United and Burnley were both reportedly keen to add some experience to their frontline as they bid to become the first promoted clubs to avoid the drop in three seasons.
The Sun journalist claims West Ham are eyeing Callum Wilson
Journalist Jack Rosser has now taken to X to claim that West Ham are in talks for the former England star.
West Ham in talks over a deal for free agent Callum Wilson.
Wilson has long had admirers at the club but any contract likely to be weighted towards appearances/goals.

West Ham have always been circling Wilson
This link actually make sense, as the Hammers were always mentioned as a potential buyer when Wilson was expected to be sold by Newcastle towards the end of his deal.
With his mate Michail Antonio having left the club this summer after his contract ran down, Wilson seems like the perfect fit to fill that void.
If he can keep fit and available, Wilson will thrive at West Ham, they just feel like the perfect fit for him right now.
