Fan favourite Newcastle United player Bruno Guimaraes and the rest of his Brazilian teammates have come under fire from a legend of the game.

Brazil are in the USA for the CONMEBAL Copa America which they would often find themselves favourites to win, but after a dismal 1-1 draw with the host nation in the final warm-up game before the tournament, confidence is not high.

In fact, Brazil have been, especially by their lofty standards, pretty lacklustre for a while now and it seems that Ronaldinho has had enough.

In a social media post, shared by Ben Jacobs, Ronaldinho has promised that he will not watch the Copa America and will not join in the celebrations if Brazil win in a bizarre rant.

Ronaldinho certainly didn't hold back in his online rant

Taking aim at the players' lack of passion, Ronaldinho calls out the side for having no leaders or great players.

“That’s it guys, I will not watch any Brazil game at the Copa América nor celebrate any victory.

“I’ve had enough. It’s a sad moment for those who love Brazilian football. It’s hard now to find the spirit to watch the games.

“It’s one of the worst teams in the recent years, no respectable leaders, only average players for the majority.

“I’ve never seen a situation as bad as this. Lack of love for Brazil shirt and lack of football.

“Our performance has been one of the worst things I’ve ever seen, it’s such a shame.

"I therefore declare my resignation. I will not watch any CONMEBAL Copa America game, nor celebrate any victory."

That's what Brazil gets for not picking Joelinton!

First off, nobody asked. Second, don't you DARE talk about Bruno Guimaraes like that and third, this is what you get for leaving Joelinton in England.

In all seriousness, you can kind of see where he's coming from. Brazil are supposed to be the absolute best of the best, ever since the 70's they've been up there as one of the most creative, expressive and exciting teams to watch with more than one superstar in their lineup at all times.

Now we have Neymar who has all the ability in the world and none of the conviction, Bruno Guimaraes who, as much as we love him, does tend to struggle when those around him leave him out to dry and really, that's about it. When they're rocking players from the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and their star forward is chuffing Richarlison, then something is seriously wrong.
