The TV Overlords have selected their live broadcast games for December and January with Newcastle United's fixture list hit hard once again.

Sky Sports and TNT Sports absolutely love showing Newcastle United fixtures, it's just the way it is. It's great for the club's pockets and fantastic for those fans who can't attend the games.

However, for those fans who travel the length and breadth of the country to watch their beloved teams, whoever that may be, the TV schedule can really play havoc with travel plans.

The Premier League have tried to make the TV companies give ample time for people to change their plans which is working to a degree, but often, a year of planning wouldn't make some of the trips easier.

Bournemouth fans have have to travel the length of the country for a lunch-time kick-off

Bournemouth fans have to make the longest trip in the Premier League calendar to make it up to Newcastle for a 12:30pm kick-off on Saturday 18th January.

Absolutely zero consideration for the fans once again by the TV companies.

It's usually Newcastle who get shafted with these decisions with midweek late night games in London a favourite in recent seasons, so we can absolutely sympathise with the Bournemouth fans on this one. It's beyond a joke how little the paying fans are ignored in favour of the TV Overlords.
