After such a good win as Newcastle United managed on Sunday it's easy to get carried away with bias when thinking of who should be in the Team of the Week.
Alan Shearer selects the Team of the Week for the Premier League and he has, in the past, loaded his teams with Newcastle players, and this is one of those weeks where we were expecting a few familiar names in Shearer's team.
Alas, we were wrong. Shearer swallowed his bias and only selected one NUFC representative despite some top performances on Sunday.
Apparently Joe Willock's dynamism, Alexander Isak's fourth goal in as many games or Dan Burn's rock solid defending weren't enough for the former Newcastle United man.
Alan Shearer didn't completely ignore Newcastle, however, giving a nod to Joelinton who was everywhere on Sunday before scoring his superb goal.
Joelinton (Newcastle)
"Another towering performance, getting on the scoresheet as Newcastle made it back-to back victories."
After Troy Deeney picked three Newcastle players, we were definitely expecting more from Toon fan, Shearer, but hey ho, it is what it is.
As the players now get ready for another international break, Newcastle will be cursing the arrival of this latest break given their momentum.
After the players return to the club, West Ham are next up for the Magpies and the big thing will be who available for Eddie Howe.
All eyes will be on Callum Wilson after the international break to see if he is finally ready to make his return to action after several false dawns. Kieran Trippier should also be available once again.
