There certainly isn't a stock shortage at Chelsea as the Blues look to move on some players before next week's transfer deadline.

Newcastle United have been linked to several Chelsea players throughout the summer with Conor Gallagher being one of them who has thankfully found himself a new club that isn't Newcastle.

Noni Madueke, who scored for Chelsea in last night's 2-0 win over Napkin Servette in the first leg of the Europa Conference League qualifier, had reportedly caught Newcastle's eye, but the Daily Mail claimed yesterday that this was not the case.

Trevoh Chalobah and Axel Disasi were two defensive names thrown in the mix with Disasi mooted as a backup if the Marc Guehi bid fails.

Axel Disasi? No thanks

Newcastle could swoop for THREE Chelsea players this week

Now Give Me Sport has thrown Raheem Sterling's name in the mix who was also mentioned by Paul Merson as someone Newcastle should look at.

Indeed, GMS claim that Newcastle could make a move for Sterling, Madueke, and Disasi before the window closes.

Enzo Maresca has over 40 players in his Chelsea squad and has to split the squad into two with separate training times to get the job done, so naturally, his aim now is to trim the squad.

We'd take two of the three mentioned although we only need one

Raheem Sterling has been cast aside by Maresca so if he were to go to Newcastle he may feel he has a point to prove, however, his wages could be a huge problem for the Magpies.

Madueke could be an easier deal to get done, but after featuring last night Maresca may not be as keen to let him leave, and there's also the fact that The Daily Mail claims that Newcastle aren't actually interested.

As for Axel Disasi - he also played in last night's game so may still have a future under Maresca, but he already turned us down once, so it's a no from us.

We'd love Sterling and we'd be happy with Madueke, but we're not sure if any of these potential moves would actually come off.
