We've often waxed lyrical about Shay Given still calling Newcastle United "we" whenever he's on pundit duty and how he's a bit example of a player from outside of the city who fell in love with the club after playing up here.
But if we're being honest, we didn't know just how much Shay Given clearly still loves the Toon.
The former Newcastle goalkeeper was in the BBC studios for Football Focus on Saturday afternoon as the Newcastle v Arsenal match played out.
In the 12th minute of the game, Anthony Gordon put the ball on a plate for Alexander Isak to nod home for what would ultimately be the match winner.
It was a sublime goal and we've already seen Alan Shearer's reaction to it, but Shay Given went a step further and smashed up the BBC studio.
Okay, we got a bit carried away there with 'smashed up' but he did break part of the set as you can see in that clip in the X post above, with Kelly Somers wasting no time grassing him up.
"I'm just going to let you in on a little secret. It's been a bit chaotic in the studio.
"Shay Given has just broken part of the set. Why have you broken part of the set?"
Shay apologised and went on to explain why he had done it.
"I just kicked the table by mistake, so I apologise.
"Why did I do that?
"Because Isak has just scored against Arsenal. A brilliant cross from Anthony Gordon, Isak header, top corner, 1-0 to the Toon."
What a day!
