Newcastle United will take on West Ham United on 25th November live on Sky Sports with the Magpies receiving some good news today ahead of that fixture.
Last season Newcastle were made to work for the four points they took from the Hammers in the Premier League.
The two sides played out a 2-2 draw at St James' Park early in the season with Mohammed Kudus bagging an 89th minute equaliser for the London club.
Then in March Kudus was on the scoresheet again as Newcastle had to fight from 3-1 down to win 4-3 at the London Stadium.
Fortunately, Newcastle won't have to worry about the Ghanaian trying his best to spoil our party when the sides meet at St James' Park later this month.
Sky Sports has reported this afternoon that Mohammed Kudus has been handed a further two-match ban after picking up a red card in the match against Tottenham on 19th October.
Initially only given a yellow card, a VAR check saw that card rescinded and a red card shown for violent conduct leading to an automatic three-match ban, and now, just as Kudus was getting ready to serve the final game of his suspension, The FA have added another two-games to the ban ruling him out of their meetings with Newcastle and Arsenal.
West Ham are already having a tough start to the season under Julen Lopetegui as the decision to part with David Moyes comes back to bite them, so the last thing they need is one of their key players missing for five games.
While it's obviously more about the players Eddie Howe puts out on the pitch than those of the opposition, it never hurts knowing that they're missing a key player.
The game will be televised on Sky Sports on Monday 25th November - Kick-off is 8pm.
