Jacob Murphy's twin brother Josh is currently plying his trade at Oxford United who have reached the League One promotion play-offs.

The U's will now take a 1-0 lead into the second leg, so things are looking good for Josh and his side.

Before the game, Sky Sports sat down to interview Jacob Josh Murphy - I swear it's impossible to tell them apart - and Sky surprised him with a video message from his brother.

You could almost see Josh trying not to show too much emotion as Jacob delivered a touching message ahead of the game.

You could feel the love in the message

It almost melted my own icy heart as you could tell the immense love and respect the two have for each other. You'd think there'd be some sort of rivalry with one playing in the Premier League, for their beloved club no less, and the other in League One, but there doesn't seem to be any of that, which is fantastic.

Jacob's message involved him telling Josh several times how proud he is.

"Hey Josh. Congratulations for getting to the play-offs. You don't need me to explain how proud I am of you, you already know that, but here I am saying it again. So proud of you. You've done wonderfully well this season.

"Seeing you get back to your old self, doing the things that makes Josh Josh, it's been wonderful seeing your journey this season."

The twins are both wind-up merchants

Afterwards, Josh revealed the two are in constant contact and even like to critique each other's performances via text during their games so they have a list of things they did wrong to read through at full-time.

It seems like they both possess that joker gene that makes Jacob so popular around Newcastle.

We wish Josh all the best in the play-offs going forward and we hope that should they make it to the final, Eddie Howe lets Jacob take a day off to go to Wembley.
